Respitron Syrup

Get Ready for Winter! Respitron syrup contains a number of micronutrients to maximize the body’s respiratory defense mechanisms. Airborne pollution, poor dietary practices and smoky environments all play an active role in creating respiratory system disturbances. Hay-fever, nasal congestion and sneezing are symptoms of the most common form of allergies in South Africa, with as many as 1 in 10 people affected. Allergies occur because there is an exaggerated response by a person’s immune system to a substance (allergen) that is not normally harmful e.g. pollen, dust, animal hair etc. It is amazing that the body sometimes actually responds incorrectly and then causes extreme discomfort when it is normally an efficient fighting machine! What does this Respitron Syrup contain? Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Thiamine (Vitamin B1), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 , Pantothenic acid, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Betacarotene, Methyl Sulphonyl Methane, Bromelain, Histidine, Tyrosine, Chickweed, Licorice root, Echinacea, Quercetin, Garlic, Drosera, Hydrastis, Honey. Why does it help with Respiratory problems? Garlic and Quercetin increase the immunity especially against respiratory disturbances of bacterial or viral origin. • Hydrastis is excellent for catarrh whether of the throat, nose or bronchial passages. • Licorice is helpful in alleviating ailments such as sore chest, sore throat and coughs. • MSM fortifies the body’s natural barriers against allergens like pollen and food. It also has anti-inflammatory properties. Why does the colour of Respitron Syrup sometimes vary? Respitron does not contain any artificial colourants; in fact the orange colour comes from the ingredient betacarotene, which is a powerful antioxidant that the body converts into vitamin A. The natural colour of honey varies, depending on where it is harvested as well as the season. Respitron Syrup contains honey which explains why there is a variation in colour of the product from time to time, depending on the season and source of honey. Who should use Respitron Syrup? Babies: 1-2 ml per day 1-3 years: 2,5 ml once or twice a day 3-6 years: 5 ml once or twice a day 6-12 years: 5 ml twice a day Adults: 5 ml twice a day
